At the age of 13 I was already interested in photography, the first contact with this medium he had at my local school. Here I learned in extracurricular activities the classical photography from scratch. Just not only taking pictures and sharpening the eye, also the work in the darkroom to develop the films and make some positives. Because of the costs I learned fast to focus on taking these pictures only, that are really the good ones. Thats whats influenced me most. The aim is not to takes 1000 ordinary pictures, the aim is to take one great shot in a session. Any sufficiently advanced photo is indistinguishable from magic.

My main genre I specialized in is the architecture with the geometry and forms. My work does not reflect the reality, it is rather merely my interpretation of memories. In this approach is founded my style, that runs through all areas of my related work.

Besides the strict geometricle work with buildings I’m also interested in people-photography, here is my main emphasis the extraordinary scenery, nearly sureal representation of the human body in relationship to the surroundings.
